In Chéu, there is a bakery/grocery store, a café, an organic vegetable market gardener, a riding centre and tennis courts with free access to gîte guests.
For those keen on flying, there is "Ailes Florentinoises", gliding, parachuting and micro-light flying are available at the St Florentin-Chéu aerodrome. .
For hikers there are forest and countryside footpaths close to the village.
Swimming pool 6km away, the Burgundy canal, river and railway station are 3km away..

Chéu is situated 6 km from St Florentin ( Renaissance church with stained glass windows from the "champenoise" school, canal bridge, public garden...) and 7 km from Pontigny (Cistercian abbey) and several kilometres from the closest Chablis wine producers..

For those interested in gastronomy: Mireille and Daniel will give you some addresses where you can sample snails, foie gras and duck fillets, also Soumaintrain and Saint Florentin cheeses ( made with cows milk), cider from the Forest d'Othe and of course, our local wines: Chablis, Chitry, Irancy, Côtes d'Auxerre, Coulanges, Epineuil and not forgetting Champagne as we are close to the Champagne vineyards.
